Whiff of Joy& Copic Challenge

I decided to make one card for two great challenges. Bling is the theme forWhiff of Joy and for Copic challenge the colours to use are Rose Red, Coral Sea and Dark Brown. Now, I do not have the dark brow one but replaced that with what I had. And that worked as well.

I hope that glitter is also counted as bling as I have lots of it. The brads are by Basic Grey and papers MME.

Weekend is around the corner, which makes me really smile :)) Let´s enjoy!

P*askarteluhaaste #3

Jo kolmas Paskarteluhaaste ja aiheena eläimet. Penny Black:in hiiret tuntuivat hyvältä vaihtoehdolta ja eikun värittelemään vaan :) Kortista tuli nyt tällä kertaa kovin yksinkertainen, koska tuo kuva on mielestäni itsessään aika voimakas jollain tavalla. Muutama pinkki kukkanen oli taas ihan pakko lisätä, mutta vallitseva väri on turkoosi. Minähän lupasin yrittää vaihtaa tuota väriä, mutta tiukassa tuntuu olevan.... se pinkki siis ;)

This entry is for the Finnish challenge and the theme for this week was animals. I chose the cutest mice ever from Penny Black for this otherwise very simple card.

Challenge Up Your Life - Holiday Feeling

Nice challenge, holiday feeling.... although for me it´s already a memory of the past *sigh*

I like swimming and to me that reminds of the long summer holidays when I was a whole lot younger than today. We were swimming for hours. Therefore my choise was Magnolia stamp where Tilda sits with her feet in the water.

Copic Colour Challenge Week 27

Just a very quick post about Copic Colour Challenge. The colours to use are brown, orange and grey; check, check and check. I am not entirely excited about the pink I chose for the shirt though...

Live and learn :) But this is my card for the challenge anyway!

Basic Grey Challenge-Week 2

What a great weekend! The weather was very nice, warm and sunny. But you can already feel the autumn in the air. And the evenings are getting darker earlier and earlier.

But hey, let´s not get depressed. That is why I decided to participate in the Basic Grey challenge which has the colour combo of yellow, brown and pink. And guess if that pink is my thing :) The combo is delicious. Magnolia stamp was the obvious choise, I would say, and to make the card really pop is the flower from Papriloftet... dangerous shop.... :))

Cool in the Pool

Olen Turussa viikonloppua viettämässä ja päivä on ollut mitä ihanin. Aurinkoa ja lämpöä on riittänyt :) Ihanaa! No, kunnon askartelijana oli tietysti ihan PAKKO käydä Presento:ssa, ihan vain katsomassa. Ja kas kummaa... jotain kivaa tarttui taas mukaan uusia kortteja varten.
Lämpimän ja aurinkoisen päivän kunniaksi polskiva Hilda.

Whiff of Joy Challenge #44

I got some nice papers in the mail today and of course I have to try them out! And this is how the card turned out. Autumn is coming but I cannot give up yet on bright colors.

I hope this does not sound awful... but this card turned out rather nice in my own eyes. Room for improvement, yes, as always. But I haven´t had this feeling for a long time :) Cards give me hard time LOL. But I am fully addicted, there´s no turning back now.

Ja nyt on sitten toisen P*askarteluhaasteen aika :)) Jipiiiiii!

Pinkillä aloitin ja sillä näköjään jatketaan, sillä haasteena oli käyttää 3 kukkasta, 2 kuviopaperia sekä yhtä leimaa. Ja sinne sitä pinkkiä taas livahti, en pysty enää kontrolloimaan itseäni. Perhosia ja kukkia sekä shoppaileva Anya. Näin se menee.
Yritän ensi viikolla vaihtaa väriä :)

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Okay, right! This card really gave me hard time and the photo as well... Grrrrrrrrrrr! But it is what it is, sorry.

I do like a lot the goldfish by TGF and it was really fun to color it with vibrant shades, Copics.

The circles in the background look like underwater bubbles to me (DCWV nursery). Onnea is congrats in Finnish. The fishy as some glitter glue here and there.. I explain a lot today.... excuses, excuses ;).

Sugar Bowl Sketch

I came across this challenge today, The Sugar Bowl. The sketch was inspiring and part of the challange is to use self made flowers as well. So I decided to give this ago. I used flowers which I made during my summer vacation with Martha Steward punch and I like them. Turned out ok. Great way to use those scraps of paper that are lurking around.... :) We all have them, dont´we?!

The image is by Whiff of Joy and I have added some Flower Soft on the basket. Cannot enter for the challenge as a Sugar Nellie stamp is required and I have none. But like I said, liked the sketch a lot.

Penny Black Challenge time- week 62

The challenge this week is to use blue, tan and cream in the card. For some reason I switch on Christmas gear when doing a card to this challenge. Well, that is good so that I will some cards to send to send this year to my friends :) I enjoyed doing this and am rather pleased with the result, this time.

Eka P*askarteluhaaste

No niin! Tähän iski inspiraatio torstai-iltana, eikä meninannut uni tulla kun odotin että pääsen työstämään tätä korttia P*askarteluhaasteeseen. Tästä kortista on tosi vaikea arvata meikäläisen lempiväriä... siis todella. Yllättävää kyllä sen on vaaleanpunainen, pinkki. Vastaväriksi otin mintunvihreän. Motivetin Hilda an aivan i h a n a :) ja teksti on eräs suosikkisarjoistani. Edina rules :)

Whiff of Joy Challenge - Pink& Brown

My second challenge is Whiff of Joy and colors to use are pink and brown. Great combo!!! But not necessarily that easy... at least for me;) For some reason this card turned out VERY plain and simple. The card blanc was a great deal from local craft store and has small roses, probably you cannot see them in the photo though.

Työkaveri täytti pyöreitä ja ajattelimme nyt yllättää hänet kukkapuskalla perjantaina. Taitaa luulla, että unohdimme hänet kokonaan :) hahaa! Ehei, kaikki tilaisuudet juhlimiseen pitää käyttää ja yllätys on toivottavasti mukava. Lupasin tehdä kortin ja yritin miettiä ko. henkilölle sopivaa väriyhdistelmää. Tilda ruusupuskan kanssa sopii hyvin, kukkia kortissa ja kukkia livenä.

Ja joskus se ei vaan toimi...

... vaikka yrittää. Jotenkin tämä idea näytti päässäni paremmalta kuin se sitten on ihan livenä. No värit ovat ainakin yhtä aurinkoiset kuin ilmakin on ollut. leimasimessa ei ainakaan ole vikaa. Nämä Whiff of Joy leimat ovat aivan ihania. Niiden värittämiseen ei tunnu kyllästyvän :)

Tuohon mustaan tekstiin olen käyttänyt SAFMAT siirtokuvakalvoa, ostettu Paperinauhasta.

Jos joku osaa neuvoa miten nuo blogi candy kuvat saa tuohon viereen linkattua kertokaapa. Ei meinaan onnistunut tältä poropeukalolta, heh!

There were some challenges with this card and I had to change my original plan. But it turned out pretty desent... at least for me. The photo is a bit wonky, sorry :))

Olipas ihana viikonloppu! Aurinkoi paistoi ja lämmintä riitti. Olin tänään käymässä Ruissalossa Turussa ja sain muutaman hyvän kuvan perhosista, joita riitti :) Heinäsirkat sirittivät ja olis tosi kesäinen fiilis... huomenna sitten taas maanantai ja mentävä töiden pariin... joopa joo.

Anya korttikuvana tällä kertaa ja väritetty Promarkereilla.

Työn alla on vielä Penny Black Saturday Challenge haasteen kortti. Siellä on tosi kiva malli eli klikkaa sinne ja inspiroidu.

Crafty Goings on - candy

I had to enter for this one...just had to. The candy is unbelievable Copics!!!! And 72 of them...

Perjantai

Ihanaa, viikonloppu edessä ja saa hengähtää töistä. Vähän niinkuin kortissakin... löysin rantein.
Tuo kortin tausta on DCWV:n mallistosta ja eräs suosikeistani. Jostain syystä siinä on sellaiset värit, että se sopii monen väriyhdistelmän kanssa. Väritys Promarkereilla ja on ihan ok... olen suht tyytyväinen tuohon korttiin.

Hiphei! Tänään saapuivat postissa uudet TGF-leimasimet sekä Taitopuoti Paperinauha ostokset. Leimailin jo muutamia, mutta väritykset ovat vielä kesken. Kohta täytyy kyllä tehdä ostolakko :) Mutta aina näke jotain uutta kivaa, joka on PAKKO saada *huoks* LOL

Rippikortti pojalle

... oli pyyntö... joo-o. Jostain syystä sellaista korttia ei ole ihan helppo tehdä. No, tästä tuli nyht sitten sininen, yksinkertainen ja perinteinen. Sopivaa leimaa en omista eli piti käyttää ääriviivatarroja. Ja tuollainen siitä sitten tuli.

Hääkortti

Tänään työkaveri pyysi, että voisitko tehdä lauantaita varten hääkortin. Lupasin yrittää sillä en ole koskaan aiemmin sellaista tehnyt. Otin tämän vastaan uutena haasteena!! En ole paljoa nauhojakaan käyttänyt ja nyt halusin kokeilla, koska sehän sopii tosi hyvin häätunnelmiin.

Ja tässä tulos: eestä ja takaa :) Ei ihan paha, eihän?

PINK is the word

Halusin yllättää pari työkaveria mukavilla korteilla. Kristalle muuten vaan ylläri ja Nicole jäi mammalomalle, joten halusin muistaa häntä. Molemmat leimasimet ovat Penny Black:ltä. Jostain syystä tuo kissa saa minut aina hymyilemään. Ja niin kävi kortin saajallekin :)

TGF kortteja edelleen

Hiphei!!! Olen saanut 2 kommenttia! Jipiiii :) Näin pienestä ihminen voi iloita. Kiitos kommentoijille. Olin melko varma, että saan "höpistä" täällä yksin... mutta kivaltahan tuo tuntui.

Näistä korteista tulee nyt tällä hetkellä melko yksinkertaisia...kuten tekijäkin on!??? Hmmmm :)

Tällä kertaa iloinen lehmä tervehtii laitumelta ja lähettää aurinkoisen tervehdyksen päivää piristämään.

Ja tänään saapuivat postissa uuden Whiff of Joy leimasimet. Olen jo leimaillut muutaman kuvan värittämistä varten. Mikähän siinä muuten on, että välillä väritys menee tosi putkeen ja seuraavana päivänä jälki on jotain aivan muuta. Nyt olen vihdoin löytänyt loistavan paperin, jolle leimata ja värittää ProMarkereilla tai Copiceilla: Tecnico 6 Fabriano. Kannattaa kokeilla!
